Stuff I Didn't Know.....
Coming from a different church growing up, there were several things I was not familiar with
when I came to Stones River. The biggest thing was mission work. My previous church did not
focus on missions, so I was not familiar with the symbols and abbreviations. I would see these
in the bulletin, and didn't have any idea what they stood for. Scott can still recite the Royal
Ambassador pledge by heart from when he was a boy in church!

| This symbol is for WMU, this stands for Women's Mission Union. We have a WMU at Stones River that meets regularly. The meeting days and times are shown on the monthly calendar and in the bulletin. |
